BE-design is  proud to have had the pleasure of Creative Directing, Art Directing and Styled  this remarkable event with the extraordinary team at Forum Group Events for their client South African Tourism. The entire team pulled together to deliver the vision seamlessly bringing the rainbow nation’s culinary diversity to the heart of Sydney.

The Event was held at the Argile in Sydney Launching channel10au new TV series Food Trails in collaboration with South African Tourism

We transformed The Argyle into the Neighbourgoods market place of Johannesburg, South Africa, for the launch of Warren Mendes new TV series on Channel 10, ‘Food Trail: South Africa’, premiering 6th august at 4.30pm. ‘Food Trail: South Africa’ is a 10-episode series about the culinary delights of South African cuisine, as well as an insight to South Africa’s diverse people and magnificent landscapes.

This event hosted by our client South African Tourism AU, was held to showcase some of the delicious flavours of the rainbow nation, as well as allow guests to experience the energetic vibe of the South African culture.

Upwards of 2000 guests joined us and were handed a ‘Passport to Flavour’, for each guest to collect stamps as they trailed a path from Boerewors, Bunny Chow, Slap Chips, Bobotie to Koeksisters, whilst enjoying cooking demonstrations by the host of the show, Warren Mendes. Guests were also entertained by lively dancers and drummers from Drum Circle Events and the musical stylings of South African born Barry Conrad.
